Here are some of the questions we get asked most often

I’ve never used you before how can I trust Kerboo and the very cheap price you are offering?

The team behind Kerboo has been directly involved with 3M for well over twenty years and has been working with them to provide a different route to market. We hope that you will take the leap and place your first order, realise how good it is to deal with us and become a lifelong fan of the Kerboo idea. What do you charge for delivery?

Simple, if you are in mainland UK we charge a pick, pack and delivery charge of £9.50. The site is set up for the UK but if you are outside the UK then drop us an email and we’ll let you know how much it will cost, anywhere in the world. We started out to revolutionise the UK but along the way we have picked up a number of customers outside this zone and we are actively working to improve the ability we have to work with customers everywhere.

I have never been charged for credit before why do you and how much is it?

We charge a 3.4% credit charge on every transaction which contributes to our transactional fee from Google and any administration we have to do to satisfy your order. As part of our ongoing commitment to the lowest cost we are also looking to provide cash based payment and this should lower this already low rate.

When will I get my goods delivered?

Most goods are delivered directly to you within 7 working days. Everything we carry here on Kerboo is classed as a stock item with 3M but by running our stock very tightly we can run out in certain situations. We are endeavouring to make the exact dates available on the site itself but because our supply chain is from a global manufacturer, that is a real challenge to us but please be assured it is a key driver for Kerboo today. We will always try to keep you up to date on the order you have with us.

Will you stock goods for me?

Kerboo are not set up for this position and additional associated costs but we have partners who are and we can put you in touch if this a preferred option for you.

Why do I have to buy in full boxes?

Splitting boxes of product down is a hugely expensive operation and forces a supplier to pass on a great deal of cost to the customer. Most of our customers will use a box of our product over time so actually you save a great deal of cash buying via Kerboo.

Are your box quantities always right?

The box quantities here on Kerboo should always be correct but because we are working with manufacturing plants on a global basis sometimes box quantities get changed, up or down, and the new data is sometimes slow to filter down to us. Occasionally this means an order gets placed by a customer and we have to inform them of the change. The customer at this point is at liberty to accept the change or to cancel the order and receive a full, immediate refund of all monies paid.

What if I spot something else on Kerboo that doesn’t look right?

Simple, email us and we’ll check it out – you never know you might get a “prize” for a good spot!

Can I use my own terms and names in Kerboo?

Yes of course, we will happily tag items with whatever you call them internally not the jargon we or indeed 3M use. Our aim is to help you find exactly what you need in the fastest time possible. If a term you use is missing then let us know.

Sorry but I’m still not sure why I can’t I speak to someone?

At Kerboo we’ve tried to simplify the model, read about it on our about us page, and eradicate all non-essential costs to you the customer. If we can’t answer it here on Kerboo then we probably don’t have an answer for you. If you have suggestions for us then simply drop us and email.

I need some advice on the products I use.

We are starting to provide information and guides to help you and we will continue to add to this area. Sometimes though answering speicific technical questions about the suitability of a product for your application may be beyond the Kerboo business model. Please do get in touch though and we can often put you in touch with one of technical partners.

It’s the first time I’ve used one of your products, should I trial it?

Absolutely, if you are using any product for the first time based on information you have seen here on Kerboo or indeed from any other source we always advise that you try your product first and that you deem it suitable for your use before launching into using it. You can also be assured that if you have used a specific 3M product in the past from other suppliers then the product you will get from us is exactly what you have had before.

I would like to return an item, can I?

We abide by the same distance selling rules as any other business in the UK and will be happy to assist where we can. Where 3M enforce rules and costs on us for any return to them we will inform you of that and negotiate on your behalf with them.

I can’t find the exact product I want but I have had it before?

As you can imagine, 3M have a very broad range of products and we are only showing their key items. Often product references can vary from region to region and this might also be a reason that they are not on our site, we are geared to the UK & Europe at the moment. If you have had something from their range before and can’t find the reference or perhaps the exact size then simply drop us an email, we will look into it for you and let you know if we can offer you a better deal than your current supplier.
