Main Applications
Here are a few of the main applications our products are used for within the Signmaking industry.
Letter Mounting
Many sign applications require the bonding of letters onto other substrates, this can be achieved by mechanical fixing but also by the use of double sided high performance tapes like 3M's VHB or their EPX epoxy adhesive products
VHB
The 3M VHB range can be used to adhere directly to the back of most substrates and with proper surface preparation will provide a bond that is as good if not better than mechanical fixings or plastic / metal welding
EPX
The EPX product range allows simple and reliable application of mixed epoxy adhesive which will provide a reliable and structural bond on many substrates
Sign Facia Mounting
When fixing a sign up it is vital that you maintain the clean look of the sign to allow it to do its job of communicating a message, often mechanical fixings can get in the way of that aim. 3M double sided tapes and the high performance VHB range can provide a way of fixing the fascia up without compromising its look.
